Starting in 1977, the Midland Run held at AT&T Moorland Farms, Far Hills, NJ was an outdoor celebration of Spring. The event raised money for the Midland School, which provides education and rehabilitation for children with disabilities, communication disorders and behavioral problems.
The main event of the Midland Run is the men's and women's 15K races, 5K races, corporate team challenges an children's racing activities. Entertainment at the event included live bands, tailgate parties and an autograph tent, where attendees could meet sports stars from baseball, football, basketball and wrestling.
A highlight of the 1995 and 1996 event were members of the Negro Leagues.....
