"In a playoff game against the St. Louis Stars, in 1930, Robinson playing 3rd base for the Detroit Stars, backhanded a hot liner off his shoe tops. Tagged Cool Papa Bell, while lunging back to third for the second out. then fired the ball to Grady Orange at second to complete the triple play..."

Robinson's glove work earned him the respect of ball players black and white....

  2. All of the autographs were obtained in person at a card show in 1997. the artwork was done by myself in the book in which the autographs were obtained, after the signature was obtained. The artwork was based on photographs I could find at the time.
